Wow, maybe I shouldn't have gone to Amazon and listened to a preview of that song... Too late.

I'm completely addicted to a Japanese band called Pizzicato Five. Their music is actually kind of a blend of Brazilian, modern popular music, and rock, so I love their music to death... Not all of their tracks are winners, but there are some that I know I'll be listening to for a LONG time, like...

I Wanna Be Like You
It's A Beautiful Day
A Message Song
Baby Portable Rock
Triste
I Hear A Symphony
Happy Ending

And others. Have any of you guys heard of Pizzicato Five?

Errr.. sorry, it's newfie music, barbershop, and classic rock all the way with me.

Wow, isn't it boring sticking to the same old-same old all the time? I remember when all I used to listen to was flamenco; boring. Add a little Brazilian, rock, and j-pop to the mix, and now it gets good.

...But I'm bound to get bored of all of that someday, so I'll only add another genre into the mix later.

OMG PIZZICATTO FIVE!!!

Keaton used one of their songs for his really old opening for keaton-world.com.

I LOVE the song he used.

Never heard of him...Its probably not my kind of music though...I'll listen to some of that soon, just to give something new a try, y'know.

Yeah, well I liked to listen to 70s and newfie music. Now I listen to this.

Well, I seriously need to unglue myself from this music... Hah, but it's merely a phase; I remember when I was listening to Muse 24/7, or when I couldn't live without Jobim tunes. It's the same with Pizzicato Five at the moment, and in fact, I am getting tired of some of the songs already, yet I still find myself listening to them... Let's check some of my iTunes statistics just for kicks.

I Wanna Be Like You - Played 34 Times (Not Counting iPod Play)
Baby Portable Rock - Played 11 Times (Not Counting iPod Play)
A Message Song - Played 31 Times (Not Counting iPod Play)
It's A Beautiful Day - Played 20 Times (Not Counting iPod Play)
I Hear A Symphony - Played 15 Times (Not Counting iPod Play)

And that's in only roughly 24 hours. Hmm...

LOL I do that sometimes with Daft Punk or Coldplay... Which reminds me, I REALLY need to find a way to make those videos...

It's just a trait of mine, I suppose... Whenever I like something a lot, I start getting obsessive over it... Sometimes it's a good thing (most of the time), and sometimes it can end up being a bad thing.

Oh, and which videos?

I was going to make some YouTube videos for some songs... One a LEGO Stop-Motion thingy, and the other... I have no clue.

Bul, you might like incubus... they're better than Muse, i promise. Speaking of promises... I promised myself i would never listen to Japanese music that involves singing about five years ago... i cant stand Japanese singers, it's just too friggin' weird.

Incubus is awesome, but nothing can beat Knights of Cydonia.

I've heard some Japanese rock bands, and they have some crazy accent when they speak English... Curse you Japanese Class...

Also, while we're on the subject of Japanese bands, NEVER EVER LISTEN TO NICE GUY-JIN. NEVER.
