Play coins ???

I have 311steps but no play coins are showing up on my game, how do I get them on my game.

When you go to buy an item costing play coins, the amount of play coins you have will show instead of the amount of bells

It's showing nill, but when I go my activity log screen on my 3ds it's showing 311 steps which should be 3 coins. Should they show automatically or do you transfer them manually.

I'm sure I haven't, my console is the special edition animal crossing one, would that make a difference . I've never done a system update since I've had it, bit afraid in doing that in case in lose my progress

Just walk a bit more, you should get some coins...

I dunno. System updates don't erase data, ensure you do them.
