Please give me criticism! When I ask friends and family they say that it's lovely through gritted teeth

There's not much point using guidelines if your guidelines aren't guiding you correctly.

That's not really a lot to go by, but I would suggest making the neck thicker. The hair should also flow/fall more naturally. What you have now is hair that flows in one direction and the bangs are separated at equal widths, which rarely happens in real life. You could also work on facial proportion and detail.
