I've just recently updated my DA after some large renovations (especially around my museum!) and would love for people to explore!! any feedback is appreciated as I would still consider my island a massive work in progress

highlights include: sun and moon lakes, witch hollow, outdoor restaurant, large orchard, picnic and park area, and a big rainbow garden!

Hey there! I just visited and I was going to leave some feedback. This island is gorgeous! Everything is so detailed and intricate and I love the use of color. I just have a few nitpicks. Compared to the rest of the island, some of the beaches felt a bit empty, but I do understand that the beaches can be a bit narrow and too much stuff would prevent you from walking. And my other nitpick is about the area in front of Kiki's house, like I said earlier, it's very empty compared to the rest of the island and stands out. But great work so far!

Is there anyway you could have a look at my island and give me some pointers? I have a lot of empty land that I have no idea what to do with. I know I want to do a park and a camping/wilderness area and maybe a cafe incase we get blathers, but I don't know what would be the best place to put everything. If you do come, pardon the wonky bridge placement that's behind my house and please check out my house (it's where I've put the most focus haha)! My DA is DA-3803-6739-5083

definitely!! I'll come visit later tonight when I have some time I don't know how helpful I'll be, it still feels like I don't really know what I'm doing when it comes to decorating but I'll try my best!

Hey, I visited your DA. The first thing that stood out was the old-fashioned feel of the cobblestone pathways. The way through the commerce area was nicely laid out, but I'm not so sure about the barbed-wire fencing matching it. I also really liked the path through the woods. Although the trees are pretty tightly positioned, it's still easy to navigate through because you have that circular layout for each type of fruit tree.

One major issue I had was with navigating from section to section on the island. There is only one bridge for each section when there definitely could be more to make things easier to access and flow better. The graveyard in particular I didn't get to walk around in because it's cut off from being accessed normally. Maybe stepping stones in the river would be a fun idea there? The witch hollow looks cool, but I can't access that either. Is it tied to Maple?

Most of your beaches only feel empty at times because there's not much going on near them, particularly on the eastern side of the island. I imagine once you have some trees or other things laid out near the sun lake it should make everything feel like it comes together.

As for your main home, it was really nice. The custom prints look great. My favorite part though was the upstairs bedroom; it has such a nice cozy and comfortable feel to it. I also like the outdoor area to the left of the house. It seems like it'll be really nice during a snowy day most of all.

Overall, I liked your island. With a bit more to the exterior design and navigation, it'll look great.

ahh thank you so much!! I love the pictures you took the witch hollow is actually accessible through the bamboo forest and then jumping across the canyon (a little bit complicated to get there but I kind of like the fact that it's a little secret) I'll definitely think about doing stepping stones across to the graveyard, that's a fun idea!

I just visited and I loved your house!! I can see what you mean about having lots of empty land, honestly I'm not entirely sure what the best advice would be (sorry!) for my island personally I started with a small section at a time and focused on completing that area. for my personal style items and clutter were a lifesaver

maybe focus on how you can spread some of the things you already have out a little, is there a way you can make your residential areas seem a bit more full? could you build up the area around the museum a bit? where makes the most sense for things to be, would a park be closer to houses/buildings or farther away? maybe think of some fun water features you'd like to have (my sun lake takes up a Lot of space haha) or sections you want to include that maybe aren't the "normal" things that are on everyone's islands (I love a good outdoor cafe as much as the next person but my honey farm is one of my favourite areas)

I'm sorry I can't be more help, I'm not really sure exactly what you're wanting to include or have on your island so I don't know the sort of things to suggest you add in

Hi there, I just finished looking at your island! I’m going to try and break this up under several points - I’m an art student so it’s been ingrained in me to ramble( Like I am now, haha..) So I’ll try to keep it simple.

1.Resident Services area
This is merely my opinion, but I love the brick pathing - it gives off a structured town vibe, and provided a sense of community and comfort that I really enjoyed. As I explored, I also came across this beautiful forest area. Personally, I really enjoy areas such as these, where there is a small pathway. I struggled with creating a foresty vibe on my own island, so I’m taking inspo from you if I ever decide to renovate!

2.Flower field
I’ve always thought hyacinths were the most unattractive flowers in the game - however, your color choices in this field is so beautifully chosen, I couldn’t help but fall in love with it.

2. Empty grounds
My only critique would be that the lack of path decorations in some areas kind of gives it an empty feel - but this island is still largely a wip, so that’s completely understandable. You could get flat flower paths, or even mushroom paths to give some spice to the ground! Makes the surroundings more active and lively.

3.Woahhh???
Can I just say that this is looking absolutely neat so far?!! It looks so awesome on your map as well - I can’t wait till you add more flowers, so the space looks even more magical!

that's actually a sun lake I made for my fiance! (hes the second player on the island but doesn't really go on it much, he wanted a sun lake after I made the moon lake by our houses for myself) I'm glad you liked it!!
