Please Help - Accidental Ghost House

Good day everyone, I have a bit of an issue. Well, my sister-in-law does.

So I used to play NH on her Switch before getting my own. As soon as I did, apparently she deleted my profile. Now, my house remains there, untouchable and unable to be deleted.

She has gone into the game settings and spoken to Tom Nook, and he insists she needs to log in as my old profile to do anything about it (the already deleted profile). As such, she can't delete my old house, and it's apparently an eyesore.

Any help or tips? I've tried researching but can't find anyone who has had this issue.

Create a new Switch profile using the same name you used in the old one. Open the game using that profile and delete the resident. Then just delete the Switch profile afterwards.

This is one of the most common issues when trying to delete a resident. Always delete the resident first BEFORE you delete the Switch profile connected to it.
