I didn't want to post this in Technical Support, since it is only for TBT help, but, I'm begging any of you to help me, any help is dearly appreciated.

I was JUST playing my DS today. I was not on Wi-Fi.

I set my DS down by my bed, and a few hours later, I pick it up again.

I try to turn it on, and no green light flashes on.

I plugged in the charger, but the orange light stays for maybe a second or two, then goes off.
While the orange light is on, I can hit the power button, and the green light goes on for milliseconds, but no screen shows up. I can keep hitting the power button repediatly and the green light flashes, but nothing happens.

One time I could keep making the green light flash after the orange light went off.

PLEASE I NEED SO MUCH HELP RIGHT NOW!

I DON'T WANT TO GET A NEW DS OR SEND IT INTO NINTENDO. IF I GOT A NEW DS, I'D LOSE MY WIFI DATA, CORRECT?

PLEASE HELP!

Your DS's battery might be dead. You can replace it for around $20, I believe. Call Nintendo.

Wait, so I can change the battery on the back of the DS using that little screw!?

OM*G, I need a smaller screwdriver!

Bul, if that's the problem, I'll drive over the Minnesota or wherever the heck you live and hug you.

do you have classes? if so i would suggest using a glasses screw driver, if not go buy one they're like 3$

Yeah, it does seem like you're battery is dead. Just be thankfull the screw isn't one of those triangle ones that no one has a screwdriver for

:p

nintendo uses a special kind of screw, its not a regular screwdrivver one, but you can do what I did and get a screwdriver made for it over on eBay or alot of other places.

you probably completely drained the battery.
before you buy a new battery, try charging it overnight, and see if anything happens in the morning.
it'll need at least 12 hours, if it does anything at all.
