I spend the entire day trying to get this question answer (including making post on here) and other site
like reddit, etc... and some have help (appreciate it) but it not answering my question. If I don't get these
questions answer, then I will just have to experiment and figure out on my own despite the fact that my
island is put on hold as a result. The game has a very small map so making effective use of the square area
is utmost important.

I have read so many guides and watch so many youtube videos regarding hybrid flowers and none have answer

Please help me with the questions below.

Question #1

Regarding hybrid flowers with X representing flowers and O represent open spot, does flowers spawn outside of those O spot or is it limited to only those O (open) spot?

X O X
O X O
X O X

Example: Can the following happen below? Can flowers spawn outside of the designated O spot?

O
X O X
O X O
X O XO

Meaning should I put multiple flowers either A)

X O X X O X
O X O X O X
X O X X O X

or one space apart both horizontally and vertically via B)

X O X - X O X
O X O - X O X
X O X - X O X

Question #2

Can all of my X's flowers be different color including hybrid or does it have to be two or 3 non hybrid colors?
Can hybrid colors breed different hybrid colors?

Example: W stand for white, R stand for red, Y stand for yellow, H stand for hybrid (pink, purple, blue, etc..)
, and O for open spot

Example A - Is this the only way to breed flowers?

ROWO YOOW
OROW or ORRO
ROWO YOOW

Example B - Or is this possible as well?

HOWO
OROY
HOHO

Thank you!

Honestly I've heard about different recommended patterns. Plus sign, diamond, a zig zag (where when hybrids grow in it looks like a checkerboard) to an x-shape. I think whether or not hybrids grow is up to the RNG. I have several different places where I've put up patterns and only hybrid has grown on my island so far: A single black lilly.

And I've had beds for cross breeding blue, orange AND pink hyacinths set up for about a week now. And I've tried every pattern I mentioned except the X. So, unless I'm wrong, I'm gonna have to say it's probably the RNG. In past games I could never grow hybrids with the correct flowers either...

Yes, hybrid flowers can spawn adjacent to ANY flower. The only places it can't spawn are in a location NOT adjacent to any flower.

I would go and follow a guide for the different hybrid combinations. In general though, white + yellow does not produce a hybrid of any kind, so don't go around making plots of this combination of flowers. Although not specifically stated, you will ALWAYS have a chance at producing a child flower of the same color of any of the parents.

Ex: Orange Cosmos + Orange Cosmos = Black Cosmos as well as Orange Cosmos

You keep asking this same question and people are giving you answers... Not sure what you are looking for here.

Either way, this is a good guide. I recommend you read it in full to see if it answers your questions.

I have read so many guide that people on here gave link to. I don't think people understand my question.

Thanks for the help.

I have grown one hybrid by messing around but I'm trying to figure out the most effect method.

I make all my flowers colorful so if this is wrong, then I will have to literally relocate over 200 flowers sigh

I'm not sure if making them all colorful is right or wrong, but I do know that I watched a YouTube video where a guy put red, white and yellow flowers so that hybrid-compatible colors were nearby each other and he was able to grow hybrids so as long white and red are near each other to make pink, red and yellow near each other to make yellow you should be ok.

Hopefully, you'll be able to start having luck growing flowers soon though.
