Hey, everyone. I can't express how aggravated I am. It's gotten to the point where I'm thinking about not playing AC:NL and saying how horrible it is. All because of one reason, yes, it may be small but it has bugged me to absolutely no end.

Wendy, a new villager has moved into my town and onto my path in a very inconvenient spot. I have been time traveling to kick her out for about 12 hours straight now. Yes, 12 hours and counting. Violet also moved in after Wendy but in a good spot. I'll eventually TT Violet out because I don't like her but she isn't a priority now because her house is placed well.

I don't understand why the developers didn't add a way to evict animals you don't like and didn't give the player the choice to position the houses of animals moving in as it can be REALLY frustrating when animals move on your trees, flowers and paths. I've been time traveling from August 24th to September 4th and back. Rinse repeat.

I have introduced myself to this animal and have since then ignored them every single day I TT'd. She isn't budging and neither has Violet. Everyone in my town but those two have asked to leave. I have looked up stuff online and the information is just theories. Hitting them doesn't do anything and even sending letters with items they dislike doesn't seem to work.

Does anyone know for certain what I must do? Please help. I want to break my game.

You simply have to keep at what you are doing and just ignore them. Also, 12 hours? Wow

Don't worry, a lot of people have faced through this.

Try making a new character and having them talk to every villager you want to stay and not even introducing them to the ones you want to leave. That seemed to speed up the moving process with my alt town. ~ 6/7 times that villager has moved out next for me, though once it utterly failed me and I never got to give out that villager.

Heard something like this except you have to introduce yourself to the ones you want to leave and not talk to that specific villager for a week. They will ping letting you know they're going to leave on a date, or someone will tell you. It worked to get Wolfgang out, but Walker won't leave. T_T

Lol, in an interview they said they wanted you to to get a chance to know every villager. Sometimes someone you don't like, you can warm up to. They did that on purpose. Um, yeah. The whole resetting part wasn't even supposed to be in the game, that's just players taking advantage of a loophole.

In the end, if you only want a single villager out, as opposed to any of the other 9 you might have, it is very difficult. welcome to the struggle. keep trying. sooner or later they will definitely move out. ignoring them works much better than treating them badly, btw. just an fyi.
