please help!

I got city folk for Christmas and my grass is going away very quickly.
I want save it

we've all kind of had to grapple with this, but it seems that walking instead of running might help it not deteriorate as fast. the grass/snow is now a skin that wears away the more you walk on it. hope that helps!

Unfortunately this happens. I wasn't happy when it started happening on my game. Now I'm happy, because I kept going over the same 'trails' and now I have pathways leading to all the main places around my town. That way I'm not destroying anymore grass.
You should try it.

Also to prevent huge grass loss, try not to run too much and plant plenty of trees and flowers
near areas that have lost grass.

To be honest I want to know how to save it to. Now don't quote me on this but I believe that when it rains or snows a little comes back I'm probably wrong though. Anyway if you want to prevent it you can walk around town rather than run or you can place design mats down on the floor...take your pick

It will grow back in time. Planting plenty of trees and flowers helps grass grow back.

Even walking in the same places regular will make grass fade. Don't worry about it.

Just be careful and don't run everywhere and it should grow back steadily.

I never knew about grass dissappearing until I went to my friends town, he had only just got the game but I had it since release date, we had similar town layouts but I had less grass, he only got the game the day i came to his town.

Well I was shocked when it happened to me. But it can have a positive outcome. I just follwed the trails that started appearing to get to places and then the trails become more visable. Now it's like I have small pathways all around my town. It's cute ^_^

i do like the pathways! it's just difficult to keep them like that if you run all over the town for, i dunno, a balloon that's on the alternate level (cliff or sea).

Yeah >.< Hence why I haven't shot down many balloons.
