Before I buy it, what is different in Home Designer? I have New Leaf, I'm wondering if it's worth buying another game. Is it, another town game? (Probably)

It's a completely different game. You design houses instead of looking after a town

Hey hey hey, I was looking for opinions from others..

um, you asked if it was a "town" game and you are making multiple threads with different questions... she's just trying to give you a resource that she took a long time to get together, which you obviously aren't reading. if you aren't going to take the time to look for the answers then you'll have to figure it out yourself.

In Happy Home Designer, you work for Tom Nook as a real estate agent. Unlike other Animal Crossing games you cannot wander around a town. You just have a little city filled with shops and other buildings to decorate. Animals also wander around the city, each with a different house theme. You pick a spot for their house to go on the map Lottie shows you, and then you decorate it how they want. That's really all you can do in this game.

If you aren't big on designing houses, I wouldn't get this game. But if you really like building and designing houses and other buildings, go ahead. I really like the game, but it can get a little old after playing for so long every day. And there aren't any goals to look forward to like in a regular game of Animal Crossing, as you can't fish or catch bugs and you don't have your own home.

Very helpful thank you.

Who's the real snarky one here? If someone here would have a decent level of comprehension and read the extremely well written FAQ, most of your questions would be answered. You're lucky TwisterHeart was nice enough to post a thoughtful response.
