Ok. So, you may or may not have had these struggles during the Christmas Eve and Night. But I certainly did. The struggles were being anticipated for Christmas that Christmas eve was a very slow day and it was one of those days where trying to kill time was immediate. And when it was time to go to bed, I tried very hard to close my eyes and sleep successfully. But every 10 minutes or less, I kept waking up. And when I do have a successful sleep, it only works for 2 hours straight. One of my dreams that I still remember was the hype for Animal Crossing: New Leaf. I also remember back in 2012, I had a tremendous headache so bad, that I vow to never hype for Christmas day on Christmas Eve ever again! (But don't get me wrong, I still love Christmas. I can still feel that extremely painful Christmas 2012 headache... >.<)

Did you have the same struggle as I did? Or did you not and the day and sleep went by fast.

I used to sleep from 11-2 and then I would be up for the entire night!

Back when I was a kid. I had a boombox in my room so I'd listen to all my CDs from 2-7 and then we were allowed to get up at 7 and open out stockings. Good times. Good times.

I always ritualistically woke up in the middle of the night on Christmas Day and me and my sister would sneak into each other's rooms to see what we had both got. Sweet.

Nowadays I just sleep for all eternity and couldn't care less about the following day, which is a little sad, but I still love Christmas. I just don't like getting gifts because it feels awkward, so in many ways I dread it.

I remember being hella excited for Christmas when I was little. It was to the point where I would wait till everyone went to sleep so I could sneak downstairs and wait for Santa underneath the Christmas tree but I usually dozed off and found myself back in my room. Now that I know santa is actually my fam, I'm not as cite as I use to be. I usually just ask my family to just give me money so I can by my own stuff rather than being excited for the unexpected. But I do feel happy seeing my younger siblings get presents since that's how I use to be.

Not really, Christmas was never really a big hurrah in my family. Presents were nice but we usually just got whatever was 1st on our list and then a bunch clothes and candy.

When I was younger and the hype was real I would get really broken sleep on Christmas but I don't know, I feel like that was part of the charm, we'd wait until first light around 6am and wake everyone up in the house to go open presents on Christmas(back when we opened Santa presents/stockings on Christmas morning) So for sure around the afternoon we were all super pooped and usually took a nap and then had Christmas dinner later in the day. But yeah I used to always have broken sleep. But we've mostly done Christmas Eve present opening and then just the Santa presents on the morning so Eve wasn't ever really boring because we knew we got presents that night as well.

i haven't actually been pumped for christmas. it's nice & you spend time with your family but i don't really care

I haven't been too excited this year, I'm not sure why. I guess I'm mostly looking forward to giving out the gifts I bought once everyone wakes up, but I slept really soundly. I stayed up later than I had wanted to though. Idek what I was doing...

I remember being incredibly excited when I was little though. I always had a hard time falling asleep, and I'd always be the first awake on Christmas Day.

I don't sleep well, so I did wake up a lot, but not because of Christmas. When I was little, it would take me forever to fall asleep on Christmas eve.

I woke up at 400 am. this morning. I woke my daughter up at 5:00. I couldn't wait for her to open her presents. I bought her some cute totoro socks and a Totoro movie. I also got her a stuffed Umara-chan plush and added a bag of chips and some coke. She loved it.

I used to be so hyped for Christmas when I was a kid. I'd toss and turn all night.
