Pocket Camp Out of Service Today!!

Today ACPC went inaccessible. When I played yesterday this adorable comic popped up, and I had to save it to my phone before it was gone. Here it is!! <3

I will be missing this app of course, but I'm happy because I pre-ordered Pocket Camp Complete and we're almost at its release day.

Edit: I just remembered during the last 2 hours or so it was snowing with that sweet snow music in background (the snow was not at the campground though)

Awe I never got anything but an out of service announcement I didn't play for a few days because of emotional issues. Man I missed out on alot.

i actually almost cried going on just before end of service this afternoon. i didn't think it would make me so emotional, but seeing that little comic and the fact that the last three hour cycle had the first snowfall... it was so bittersweet. i sent gifts to everyone on my friends list yesterday and added some thank you stickers to the friends i've had since the first few weeks of launch. looking forward to complete, but damn it's going to be a long 3-4 days lol, and i will definitely miss the social elements.

I can't wait for the complete app!! I actually fell out of love with ACPC a while ago because there were so many cool items mostly behind a wall of microtransactions. Now I actually have a chance to get them again and I only have to pay $9.99. I love Nintendo for this.

Yeah I dropped the game very early on because it just didn't particularly hold my interest as well as the microtransaction thing. So I'm VERY excited to start Complete, basically from scratch.

Same here! I started playing during 2021 and even subscribed to the Pocket Camp Club (the happy helper plan) and got my free leaf tickets every month, but it wasn't enough to get what I wanted. One day I was looking through the old fortune cookies and got tempted to get older cookies to get furniture I wanted. I ALMOST subscribed to the Fashion and Furniture plan until I stopped to think about what I was doing and got put off by how greedy the game was. I canceled my Happy Helper plan and dropped the game soon after my final month ended.

I picked it back up for the final month of service as I heard it was ending soon and wanted to see it off. While I didn't like the microtransactions in the original, I heard that the complete version would not have any and it's only $10 dollars right now so I might as well get it. It was always nice having Animal Crossing on the go (like on a phone I already take with me everywhere).

I don’t think it’s depressing they closed a gacha game filled with microtransactions and replaced it with a offline proper game with everything earnible in game. I never bother much with pc due to the microtransactions and online stuff so to me this is a blessing. I wish more online games would shut down and re-emerge as offline games.
