Disclaimer: This is the right subforum and the Towns name is Evergreen

Ahem...

In Evergreen, the flowers blow
Between the trees, row on row
That mark their place, the world's sky
The balloons still steadily going by.

We are alone. Short years ago
we weren't. Felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved, now not loved, and now we lie
In Evergreen.

Take up our cries with our friends.
To you from heartful souls, we throw
The sobs, be yours to confine
For you shall define our lives
Even though flowers blow
In Evergreen

I love it! It has that magical feeling a non-rhyming poem has, but it still has rhymes in it. I hope you make more!

It's too bad though how everyone on here obsesses with art, and very few make written works.

Thanks for all the compliments! ^_^ This is actually my first poem posted, and its a remix of "In Flanders Fields"

[SUB]oh gosh i hope nobody dislikes me for doing a remix[/SUB]

Nice spin-off of Flanders' Fields!
