Pokemon: Lykko Adventures
Chapter 1
Within a Semi-detached house in Antolia town, a young girl called Lydian was sleeping in her bed until she was woken up by her little brother, Nyle. "Sis, today is the day you graduate from Pokemon Trainer school!", he said. "Get up!" As she thanked Nyle, Lydian picked up her Pokeballs, walked into the bathroom and got dressed.
Meanwhile beside his small cottage in Terian city, a young boy called Grant was being bullied by a group of boys. They had pushed him over and taken the small amount of money his mother was able to give him for his journey. Grant came from a very poor family. He lived with his mother and his six younger siblings. His father left when Grant was young and a few of his older relatives had set out on journeys with their Pokemon. Grant was weak, so he couldn't fight the boys, however, loyal partner and best friend; a Ponyta let out a loud neigh, which made the boys jump and drop the money. Grant then ran into the Pokemon Trainer school before class had even started and helped the teacher set up for the last day, so the boys couldn't harm him.
After she got dressed, Lydian walked downstairs and began to talk to her mother. "Oh, I'm so proud of you!", her mother said as she hugged Lydian. "Ah, thanks.", giggled Lydian. "Ok, Nyle and I are off to school now." Lydian sent out her Staravia, sat on it along with Nyle and flew to Terian city. When she found out that she was a few minutes early, Lydian went to the arena behind the school and looked for a challenger. A first year student called Joey accepted her challenge and sent out his Ratatta. Lydian sent out her Staravia and it used Brave Bird, which knocked out Ratatta with one hit! Lydian was congratulated on her win by Joey and the two of them walked around and began to chat. "I was named after my grandfather.", said Joey. "He lived in Johto." Lydian laughed silently to herself after hearing this. "You mean Youngster Joey?", she asked with a large grin on her face. "Yeah, but please don't call him that.", Joey said, looking embarrassed. After this conversation, Arcanine, the schools beloved mascot, was sent outside to bring all of the children inside.
"I will now call the names of the school's graduating pupils.", said Mrs. Lyra, the school's teacher. "Andrew Hawk, Fiona McAllister, Grant Moore, Harriet Torres, Lydian Morgan, Peter Bennett, Sarah Cruz and Jarrod Jenkins." After all of the students names had been called out, they were allowed to leave the school and begin their own adventures.
