It was awhile back, but I still have it on my wii and I actually used to use it quite a bit. It's completely full of over a thousand or something hacked Pokemon and random Manaphy eggs though :p Unfortunately I can't really use it anymore because I restarted my Pearl version.

Did any of you play Pokemon Ranch? Share any stories and nostalgia here. :)

I used to play Pokemon Ranch a lot as it was a good way to motivate you to catch and trade pokemon. However, ever since I deleted Diamond, I got my first shiny Buizel stuck in Pokemon Ranch now. And I use him for battles. Poor little Buizel. At least he is having fun.

Aww man that kind of sucks. But yeah, at least he's having fun c:

I used it for a bit and was extremely disappointed when not only did they not bring the Platinum patch over, but that HG/SS wasn't included either. It was an excellent storage system and I really enjoyed getting special Pokemon by trading with Haley(?).

When you say it like that, it's like Pokemon Ranch was in a way the free and cheaper version of Pokemon Bank in a way. I mean it can be. Only that you can have a little bit of fun with them in Pokemon Ranch. But then another point of yours is that you are right. It never was patched. Only Diamond and Pearl worked with Pokemon Ranch, didn't it? And that was disappointing as it could have also helped have more different pokemon in the ranch.

Didn't Pokemon Ranch cost 1500 Wii Points which was $15? Compared to Bank which is $5 a year since a few months after X/Y release.

I looked it up and it cost 1,000 points, so yeah $10. And since it can contain up to 1,000 pokemon, it would basically be 1 cent per mon. :U

Yes, but remember, Pokemon bank used to cost a bit more before. Wasn't it before like $2 a month when it first launched?

Not terribly bad thinking about it, I wonder if it or Pokemon Box: Ruby and Sapphire had more space though.

I'm pretty sure Pokemon Bank has always been $5.

I suppose I could be wrong as my memory enjoys tricking me now and then.
