Pokemon X and another AC!

Woo finally got my copy of Pokemon X in the mail! Been playing it for a few hours, pretty fun. Brings back lots of memories with all the Kanto/1st gen pokemon they brought into the game! Specially with the "hard" to find Pikachu in the first forest. (Very similar to viridian forest. XD) I also ordered a second animal crossing to make a themed town out of! Looking forward to that. =3 Should be here in a week or so.

I've been playing Pokemon for a long time, since gen one. so yes I have a fairly balanced team that im pretty happy with. They dont seem to give me much trouble. Tho I do desperately need a water type, but im waiting until I find a certain one.

Which Water type? I personally think that the generation III Pokémon games were the best: Pokémon Emerald especially. I was born three years after Pokémon Red & Blue appeared in America, but I have actually played those games...

LOL, I've been playing since gen one. I was waiting to get a Marill so I could have a water/fairy type. But I got a Larpas during the course of the game and stuck with it. I always loved Larpas, its always been a good pokemon for me. Pretty tough, and the water/ice combo can easily take down dragons just as good as fairys. Plus its fun to surf with! LOL

Oh, the fun days, when you sent out a Blastoise to Surf on, and you ended up either riding a Seel (gen I) or Lapras (gen II)! Also, I was really stupid when I first started breeding Pokémon, so I have a really good IVed Shiny Lapras on my Pokémon White 2, which produced very high breeding luck... No shinies since then, that was about 1 and a half years ago. Oh, it was bred on HeartGold, by the way.

I've been thinking of getting Pokemon but I can't decide whether to get X or Y, I know some of the Pokemon are different in each version but what are the other differences between the two games and which one would you say is better to get?

I havn't noticed any major differences, besides Pokemon exclusives, they're the same game. None better then the other.

Well, I can most definitely not say this from experience, but I think they would both be around the definition of same, maybe little storyline tweaks and all, like maybe the same differences as HeartGold has to SoulSilver, or that Diamond has to Pearl. Sorry if it sounds like I am copying you, Miya902!
