Ponderings in Centuria

Peppered with smatterings of hyacinths and peach trees, the uninhabited island was initially discovered by one Tom Nook.
Having recently retired from her position as mayor in the cozy small town of Proxy, Taelia was eager to find a change of pace,
environment. Something new, thrilling and exciting to partake in. The package promising a lovely island getaway by a familiar
tanuki was too tempting to pass on, and soon enough, she found herself standing in an airport, eager and anxious to start her
new life, enthusiastic to see new faces, and buzzing to get away from all the hullabuloo.

While it was initially more work than she had bargained for to be cleaning up an island, gathering fruits and food to eat, and
settling in living spaces for three on an otherwise incredibly underdeveloped islet, she found it quickly rewarding as she placed
a space for her tent amongst the fine - sand beach facing the furthest south corner of the island. After getting her two new
neighbors Hamlet and Renee settled into their own cozy corners snug by the forests and riverbanks respectively, their island
life together, began.

MEET TAELIA !
Taelia, Island Representative of Centuria

Taelia is the former mayor of a small town known as Proxy. Having left the care of the town to another
resident of the town -- Benji! -- she has moved on with her life and taken up residence on a previously
deserted island. After a month of collecting bugs, digging up fossils, breaking and crafting a nearly
unending amount of fishing rods and stalking a poor warthog for her turnips every Sunday morning, she
has built herself a quaint two-story home, consisting of a bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, living room, den
and a basement.

Future plans for her island consist of expanding the living area uphill for a total of twelve residents,
alongside a permanent campsite welcoming many newcomers, both animal and human alike!​

MEET CARMINE !
Carmine, Centuria's Own Interior Decorator

Carmine is an interior designer out and ready for a challenge! Having parted ways less than amicably
with his ex - husband Victor, Carmine has decided the only way to get himself out of his funk is by
shaking up his life with a big move. Hearing news of an up - and - coming little island looking for
some new faces, he took up on the challenge presented to him: teach the residents of Centuria, current
and new, how to bring life to their island.

Future plans for his career include ensuring other islanders' homes look the best they can, starting
from the inside and continuing to the outside. He wants the homes to reflect each individual's tastes
and aesthetics, working with the clientele to paint, sew and craft the perfect new homes.​

MEET RAVEN !
Raven, The Resident Vagabond

Raven is a bit of a transient. No one knows their true origins, nor do they know where Raven plans to
go next. They seem entirely chill to hang out in a tent near the twin waterfalls on the eastern coast
of Centuria, with no clear intentions of ever upgrading from said tent.

They seem to be betrothed to a man known only as Crow. They gush about him nearly endlessly, though he
has yet to be physically seen on the island. They do spend a good amount of time on their laptop though,
seemingly messaging him into off hours of the night.​
