So, I was looking at some PAX screenshots of the phylogenetic tree area in the museum and I think there maybe space for a new fossil. First off, some of the silhouettes lead down to that species' extinct relative, like the elephant silhouette going to the mammoth and the cat silhouette going to (what is likely) the Smilodon/sabertooth cat in this photo.

In this photo, you can see the rhino silhouette go down to (again what is likely) the Megacerops, the deer silhouette leads to nothing, and the space where the player can stand also leads to a stand with nothing on it. I'm willing to bet the human space leads to where the Peking Man will sit, so that leaves the deer sihouette. Currently, we don't have any fossils that are related to deers in the game. Megaloceros/Irish elk fossil incoming, maybe?

well, there's always a possibility!
i feel like there are bound to be new fossils anyways.

maybe we’re getting more than one new fossil?

Definitely! I just think this points to us specifically getting something deer related.

i’m personally excited - deers are my favourite animal so i’m kinda excited about a deer-related fossil aha

The exhibit with the single-fossil specimens also appeared as though there might be one or two new ones. Between this, and the 280 combined unique fish and bugs, and we are going to be busy.

I have another question ; next to the monkey, on the right side, there is nothing (no shape) ; why ? Looks like a specie should be located there...

I think it's supposed to be a space for your character to go stand! To complete the evolutionary line up!

Good eye! It connects to cows too, so I'm trying to think of the most famous extinct even-toed ungulates.
Aurochs are the only one I can think of without googling but they might be too contemporary.
