Posting Question

So I've posted a couple times (only joined yesterday) however under my avatar it says I have posted 0 times. Does anyone have an explanation for this? Any help or feedback would be appreciated

I believe that any posts made in the Introduction forum do not increase your post count, but I could be wrong.

Really? Is there anywhere else they don't count? And I mean, its just post count so is there any particular reason they aren't counted?

Similar case for me, though I can echo Faery's theory that posts in the Introductions don't count. I've posted twice (three including this post) but it says I have only posted once as one of my posts is in Introductions.

I imagine the introduction posts aren't counted because many users in many different forums take advantage of the introduction board to spam new users and threads in order to rack up their post count. Taking away the post number increase for that forum encourages genuine and more helpful introductions to the newer users. I know many other forums who follow this protocol for their games subforums(you know, the little word games and "rate the avatar above you! count to 100!" kinda things), although I don't know if TBT shares that policy.

Introduction and Basement do not add to your post count because they tend to be the most spammy places. Other than that, you'll get TBT bells for items in the shop depending on your posts.

You don't get TBT bells from the TBT Marketplace, but you can accumulate posts.
