Any chance we can get a price check tab in all the buy sell trade areas.

Thanks

Personally, I don't see any need. The price is set by the buyer/seller. If you find a price to be ridiculous, then don't buy it.
Besides, there really isn't any actual 'rate' for AC items anyway. People just up mark everything for no reason.

I really don't see a use for this. Like Jake mentioned if something's way overpriced then just don't buy it and go find something else.

Some people may i find a use for it ifthey don'tmknow what theprice should beor should be around

I don't like this idea.

It's up to the seller/buyer honestly.

I can see this happening:

"I want the fruit basket for 50K"
"Well this price check tag says it goes for 200K, so can we do that instead?"

Ew, no thanks.

It would make things fairer perhaps, as person A might end up paying more than person B did for an item, but since we are all selfish (myself included) and want cheap prices without strict guidelines on what has to be paid, I'll say no.

Nope, nope, and nope.

It's much better to let people choose what they want to price things. Setting regulations would not only be an extremely tedious and, to be honest, a whole lot of work that we(the staff) would have to do, it would also make people stop using our site in the first place.

People who use the Retail board want to make a profit. Forcing them into restrictions isn't going to let them use the board how it's supposed to be used.

I agree with everything that's been said against this. Having a feature like that would make people think that items have a particular (and somewhat fixed) value, and people should be able to offer or ask for whatever price they want.
If people want to know what a sort of average price would be, the forum search feature accomplishes that fine. But an official price check feature would make those prices have too much influence, versus the forum search just being a way to gather information on past prices.

Hope it doesn't sound like I'm trying to bash.
