I already had a thread like this but I couldnt find it orz

I've been thinking of opening a little temp art shop here but before I do, I'd like to know if people would buy my art and for how much tbt.

Here are some examples (I apologize for my inconsistent style):

Question: I realize I need some sort of "pop" to my art in some way. More dynamic poses, backgrounds, etc. Question for you artists out there, how did you get started on getting/applying variety to your art? I seem to struggle a lot with it and often am a bit hesitant to start/try new things. How can I get out of that? Tips to help me get started?

Any critique is welcome! :)

I'd definitely buy! I'd say maybe 300-400, but if you do like fullbodies and stuff I'd say 700+

First of all, I absolutely love the one you did for the non-dominant hand challenge. (The one you did with your right hand, obviously...) It's literally perfect. I don't know why, I just love that one so much.

Anyway, I'm super bad at pricing (like pretty much everyone else) but I'd say 400 tbt for an uncoloured bust...?
I'm not quite sure what stuff if going for these days, so I don't want to sell you short, but honestly anything between 400-800 tbt would be appropriate.

As for you question, I always try to experiment with different colouring styles. Sometimes I blend alot, sometimes I keep it with solid colours, and other times I go with only black shading. Try lots of suff and see what you like!
Also consider colouring you lineart. It really blends everything together and gives a softer look. I try to avoid using black as much as possible (unless I'm just not colouring) and it goes a long way. I'm not sure what program you use, but if you use Sai, you could also try adding textures to you brushes! My personal favourite is adding Fuzystatic and Canvas. Play around with it!

Sorry about the long and kinda 'all over the place' post xD

Oh, thanks so much! ^^ I actually thought that one looked kind of weird so to hear you say that means a lot!

I'll definitely try the things you said like add textures and the different ways to color. :)

Thanks to everyone who helped so far!

OMG...I have no critique...except for WHY CAN'T I COMMISSION YOU?! :p I love your style!!! Guuuuuuuh...

I apologize that I wouldn't know what to price your art but I'd definitely buy your art in a heartbeat!!

...I have a thing for how you draw noses... colour is important, though.

I agree with the prices (500-700tbt). As for making things pop, you should have more expressions. Your art is good, but almost every piece of art you have displayed seems to have a similar face with minute variation in the eyes and mouth. That is pretty much the only major thing I noticed, so try messing around with the shape and curvature of your eyes and mouth and look at references for different facial expressions.

They're both lovely :O

I'd say a sketch/outline 200-300, coloured 400-600, Realistic/Style B i would go as far as sayin 600-1000

Full body 1.5 - 3000 depending how complex the outfit is. Good luck!

Thanks for the critique! I'll definitely try to practice more with expressions. :)
