Aaaah, your art is so lovely. but since you're asking about rlc it's really difficult to price it. Because people are really picky when it comes to rlc prices.

Holy balls! Kudos to you, I wish I was that good at pen shading and coloring! xD
Not too sure about prices... maybe 600 tbt a piece?
Take my opinion with a grain of salt though, I'm not much for economics.

Hmm im not so sure. Personally i think it would be nicer if you drew in your own style instead of Eiichiro Oda's style...

Can I be honest? You're too good to be asking this question on this website. People will yell at you if you charge more than $10 on here for art, but art on TBT is severely undervalued. My partner is a traditional artist and consistently sells his art, at a similar level of skill as yours, for hundreds. Granted that price is for a physical piece but you get the point.

Obviously the value of that is reduced if you're drawing other people's characters and doing fan art. I'd recommend to branch out into doing your own stuff.

but art is undervalued everywhere, though i do understand your point

artists have to get their foot in the door somehow, simply because people want art but dont want to pay for it. so, they undercharge. it doesnt matter if youre doing fanart or OCs, value will be reduced regardless because the art market is awful. when people see art that is more correctly priced they feel its overcharging -- so artists really cant win lmao. once you do get your foot in the door it's okay, but getting there is the hard part, no matter what you draw. :/ (though yes physical art does sell differently than digital)

as for pricing for you i really couldnt tell you honestly because i suck at pricing, but your art is definitely good. <:

Do you normally just imitate/follow the original style of the piece you are drawing? Do you have any samples of art that's of an original character, or a real object/person? ^-^

well seeing that people suggested around +80$ I'm lost, lol
I think the question is if people would pay that... it's no use if you sell it for 100$ but nobody buys.
Especially in the online art world, it's often necessary that you have some kind of "popularity" in order to sell expensive stuff.

You definitely have amazing skills and I love your art, but I would recommend you get some art examples of mayors or OC's instead of just fanart, because the buyers are mostly looking for their OC's to be drawn.

When you draw fanart, you tend to imitate the animation art style, which is good for doujinshi's and stuff like that but not good when drawing people's OC, they want you to draw in your own style mostly. As in my case, I'd request Luffy to be drawn and if it's in Oda's style, that would be awesome, but not for some OC. I hope that makes sense ;-;

Another delicate point is that you reference heavily, like seen here.
Referencing is good but if you imitate it too much, it's not good ^^ it almost looks a bit traced. People would probably want you to draw your own poses and stuff.

But I'm pretty sure you can do OC's without references perfectly, so I'd just get some examples of that and try to sell! :D

Im not trying to sell OC's. I draw because I enjoy it.

I can draw stuff in different poses, hence why I've linked the Pokemon thread :x

Idk do I sound rude? ;u;
I just dont really enjoy drawing Oc's....

Ty for ur feedback though

yeah, but theyre saying thats part of what people would want you to draw. its not all about what you want to draw with commissions -- sure, you can pick based off of character and what you like, but people often like to commission their OCs, or maybe their OCs along with canon chars, etc. so i mean, if you dont actually want to do that for people then... just dont open commissions.

just out of curiosity, how come you repaint scenes like with the girl in the newest image? like i get screencap redraws and all that, totally, im not trying to be rude or anything i was just wondering o:

ohh I see! So you would only sell fanart, sorry I misunderstood ;-;
well in this case there shouldn't be a problem :D and you're not rude! I love Luffy no matter what ; v ;
I'm not sure how much you're known with your art, maybe I'd try to show it more off on other sites like dA, or open a RLC shop here on TBT, to widen your perspective towards customers. Since your art will probably be rather expensive, you'd need to find some more dedicated buyers who are willing to pay high amounts. I'm not sure how to find those people though xD

oh okay, you asked for prices so i think people just assumed you were going to sell them haha

ah, alright <:

ahh you could try selling those prints on conventions!! People there buy hella lot of fanart!! I'm sure you could make tons of $$$
I mean if it's possible for you to go conventions, then you should definitely try!! (and go in Luffy cosplay of course) :D
