Hello everyone! I am currently starting a project called Project Animal Crossing Movie Themed Town (Project ACMTT as I call it). This blog is to document the development of this town. Any advice and suggestions would be appreciated! Since I am currently trying to figure out how to get screen shots on my computer, there won't be any screenshot in the blog post. Sorry! Anyways, let's get this show on the road!
Today, I created my mayor, Ai. However, since AnimalVil was too long, I had to shorten the town name to AnimlVil. After chatting with Rover, I got off the train and headed toward area where 3 of my villagers and Isabelle were waiting. It turns out, that Genji, Chow, and Chevre were the three villagers to greet me.
After going through the whole deal of "I'm not the mayor!", I went to the town hall, then to Nook's, and chose where to put my house. I check the area and found out that the native fruit was indeed cherries. Yes! (For those of you that don't know, cherries and cherry pie was a symbolic part in the movie.) There was a lot of great spaces to put public works projects and overall, the town had a lot of potential.
Since it was the day of a firework festival, Isabelle wasn't in the town hall so I couldn't do anything. So I saved and quit and made a new save file. Since I'm sure most of you know what happens when you make a second save file, I'll spare you the details. My second character, Yu, was born (not literally of course). He placed he house next to Ai's house and went to the beach to collect shells for money.
Mayor Ai had already bought the fishing rod and shovel in Nookling Junction so Yu had nothing. I managed to gather up enough shells to sell to get a picture taken for my TPC so I could travel. I realized that I forgot to do the same with Ai so I saved and quit and loaded up my mayor.
its-nymphadora (Thanks!) on the forums gave me a shovel, net, watering can, silver slingshot, and fishing rod she had in storage. I left the extra shovel and fishing rod for Yu and logged off for the day.
Sorry if this day was boring. There really wasn't anything I could do. I'll post again when something interesting happens. Good bye for now!
