How do I make scanlines?

As I have more questions I'll post them in this thread.

I'd suggest... Not making scanlines.

Everyone does it, it's nothing to be proud of, or use that often for that manner.

but to make them you have to make a new pattern which you set to a 3 x 3 pixel "x" that you make with the pencil tool... you define it as a brush, then go to blending options > pattern overlay and select the pattern you made.

it's not too difficult... though I advise against using it since it's overused.

Oh and... I could use some help with getting the userbar text stuff correct.

I've got visitor installed but there's 3 of them. :0 Here's the names:

Visitor -BRK-
Visitor TT1 BRK
Visitor TT2 BRK

Which one do I use...

And ultra was telling me about I need to do some outline thing... I'm confused how to do that all. Help please!

Sorry I'm asking so many simple questions but...

How can I make a border?

Yeah, you did.

:p

Ok:
Text is Size 12
Make sure that the text setting is Normal, not Smooth or Strong or anything.
And to add the text border go to Layer>Layer Styles>Stroke>1 black on the text layer.

Uhm, how do you take renders from a site or hard drive into CS2.

But... It opens a new image, I'm asking how to put it into a current image.

Answer my first question too please. Or the easy way, come in the IRC. It's easier to ask and answer there.
