PSA: If you have the plot glitch, report it to Nintendo

I just hopped around for 30 minutes with support and finally was able to report the locked plot (“ ‘s new house”) glitch. Apparently, I’m the first person to do so. If y’all want this fixed, report it to Nintendo. There’s an incredibly easy report process through their text line (425-970-9648). Text them with the glitch if you’re experiencing it. Hopefully, if enough of us report it, it can be fixed in a software update.

UPDATE: Also, if you’re struggling to fix the glitch, I have two potential fixes. Please PM me and I’d love to help you out. I’ll type them up and add them here in more detail, too.

The second involves making sure you have all full plots aside from the glitched plot, and inviting someone to move in and replace a non-glitched villager. They should take the glitched plot and leave the other plot open instead.

I have not (and cannot right now, don't have an online account) done anything online, so I haven't experienced this yet. But thank you for taking the initiative and reporting this. I hope others who have experienced this report it too.

I think this is a very major glitch and hopefully they fix it soon.

Do you have a link for reporting? I have some things to report. They're not technically bugs, but if I treat them as such, Nintendo may make improvements.

i have reported this once, but i am reporting it again now with the texting support. they said they are going to send the report to nintendo HQ, and that they havent had other reports of the bug? hmm.

I'd like to report that fact that although the plot for Nook's Cranny is the same size as the actual building, the (invisible) surrounding boundary is larger.

Does anyone have a link, or number I can text for support?

They’re not, like I said in the updated OP I’m just too lazy to type them up atm since I’m on mobile & will add them when I get the chance.
