I just found out about that by accident. I opened the Custom Designs tab on the nookphone and noticed something on the top-right corner of the menu

I clicked on it and...

This is a huge quality of life improvement, especially useful for people who play late at night.

Really? I didn't know about that. I can't believe they actually fixed this before 2.0, as it was one of the things that I wanted the most.

It was added back in March 2021 back when the Sanrio update came out.
