I see QR Codes around all the time. I've been playing NL for about 10 days now & I still don't know how they work. Anyone mind caring to explain?

Go to Ables shop and use the QR code reader machine to read a QR code design somebody else made for AC:N;L

Yeah, you have to talk to Sable and I think after 7 days of talking to her she'll let you use her sewing machine. It doesn't have to be 7 days in a row, I don't think.

I've actually been playing the game for about 10 days & I've talked to her every single day, but still nothing! Hm, I guess I'll have to be patient

You have to talk to her once a day for 10 days, and then the next day the machine should show up in the shop.
