I just moved kabuki onto my island with amiibo, but quite alot of people want him, and not gonna lie i'm kinda poor so I'm thinking of making him move out with another amiibo. If I move him out with an amiibo, will he be in boxes? and can I use his amiibo to get him back after the new one moves in?

As you know from moving him in with amiibo, it takes 3 visits to the campsite to move in a villager

On the same day that the villager agrees to move in, the one you said to move out will be in boxes.

They will remain in boxes for only that day, and they can be taken by another player if they have an empty plot ready.

Once the villager has moved out, you can move them back in again with an amiibo.

If you move Kabuki out with a different amiibo villager, then he will be in boxes for that day like any other villagers, and avalible for someone else

But the next day he will be gone

As others have said, he'll be in boxes instantly after you complete the move-in dialogue with the campsite villager. So you won't have a whole day of him in boxes and you gotta act fairly quick if you're looking to sell him.

The process works like this

Day 1 you invite an amiibo villager to the campsite and complete their request
Day 2 you invite them again and complete their request
Day 3 Complete their request a third time and they will move to you island, if there is no space, you switch them out with another villager.
That villager will be in boxes for that day.
Day 4 The plot will say sold and that the new villager is moving. During this day you start the requests of the new villager (It can be the one that just moved out.
Day 5 The villager that moved in will be unpacking and you should complete the second request of the new villager.
Day 6 The new villager will be fully in your island, you also can complete the third request and move a new villager, for other another one that was already on your island or the one you just moved in. The villager you pick will be in boxes.

You can stop here, or you can start the process again in Day 7.
