I hope this belongs here, I was debating asking here or the museum shop.
anyways I'm pretty decent with photoshop. I used to make a ton of avatars and sigs years ago on a couple forum sites for users. but it's been a while and I'm kind of rusty especially with backgrounds.
so let's say I search on tumblr for a pixel scenery background and find one I like(of course only ones that are allowed to use). then open in PS, add text/ac sprites and a bunch of other little adjustments with coloring etc.
Should I credit the tumblr user in my signature? it seems obvious to do so, but I've seen tons of sigs around here with pixel backgrounds from tumblr with no credit so i wasn't sure if it was necessary or not.
