Question about birthday bells

Within a week before my birthday, I didn't update my profile. Also, my birthday was meant to be displayed in public. If both are true, then what do I have to do in order to get my birthday bells? Do I have to wait, or is there something else?

Hmm I just have my bday up, but I received my bells the day before, so I think you need your birthday showing by around 7pm EST the day before.

The site doesn't give you bells for being 'contributive or nice' to people, you shouldn't feel so entitled.

I know, but I still don't like how some get their birthday bells and others don't.

I was also referring to karma and how you get rewarded karma for being good.

There's no need to act selfish over a measly sum of near worthless currency, just try to enjoy your birthday (and post birthday) without this urgent materialistic desire.

I never changed my birthday, but I did like to mess with the time zone feature back when the TBT Fair is on. I wonder if that by any chance screws up on birthday bells.

Maybe I can forget about the birthday bells for now, but just letting you know, I am poor in TBT, I have no TBT in my ABD, and I don't have any extra "valuable collectibles" to sell. That's kinda the reason why I wanted TBT for my birthday.
