Question about cooked items

So if I gift a villager an item I cooked like an apple smoothie: will they use it for their interior at home (like decorating) or use it for eating? Lol

Ah man I was hoping for the same! But at least with the dlc we can change their interior again right?
Do you happen to know if food we buy in nooks will be available eventually as diy since we can’t order it?

I'm not sure how DLC will inflict interior decoration on main island as my progress is not substantial yet. However, if we will be invited to our residents house (main island) we may got an option to buy some of furnitures. Today, I asked for a dish I gave for a villager last night and I've been told, as she received for free not asking for any money.

I bought spaghetti today! And I was wondering if there will be recipe for it too! I also bought sushi

Im So sad with the fact that the smoothies we make we can on directly consume and not hold on our hands like a normal person would ir like we could with Redds drink
