Question about crafting villagers?

Hey I am wondering if the villager who is crafting will keep crafting as long as I don’t quit the game? Do I need to stay in the house with them? Thanks!

yea they’ll keep crafting but they also stop after a certain amount of time. you don’t need to stay in the house with them, and they craft for quite a while so you’ll have plenty of time to grab the recipe and even invite others to get it if you wanted.
