Not sure if I should put this here, but I need help editing animated gifs. I'm trying to make my own signature which I can do easily with one basic background but I have no idea how to do it with animated gifs.

How do you edit in villager/other sprites onto the gif in photoshop (PS Elements is what I have but I'm sure I can follow the directions with an explanation for the main software)?
When I open the file it only shows the first frame unanimated. How do I edit the whole gif with all the frames? I've googled it and I'm still lost.

Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure about Elements, but on CS6 (the version I use) there's a little button on the top right of the timeline that looks like an arrow next to a bunch of lines? I make sure I'm on the frame I've edited, then I click that button, then select Match Layer Across Frames from the drop-down list, and tick all the boxes and hit OK.

I'm sure there must be something similar to that in Elements!

Ah I can't find that anywhere D: And I'm very familiar with Elements so I'm sure it's not there in this software. I appreciate your help though!
