question about facilities you build!

So I've just started my game, and I haven't build every facility yet but I was wondering for those who have gotten this far, I know you can go back and redesign it if you don't like it, but can you change the exterior again as well or are you stuck with the one you picked? :/

From what I've seen in a lets play, you can change the exterior! ^-^ you can also add multiple rooms later on if I'm not mistaken! ^-^

But is this after you've already built it?

I built a restaurant and finished it but now I wish I had picked a different exterior, so I'm wondering if I can change it again or am I going to have to restart now :/

You can pick a new exterior when you remodel

You have to progress in the game so Isabelle and his brother going to tell you that they're both going to work with you so you can redesign the interior and exterior of the building.
