I have a few hybrid red roses (offspring from orange x white and orange x purple) and I’ve been trying to breed blue roses from them. Today, they only produced another red rose. Is this red rose also considered a hybrid red rose that can be used to breed blue? Or it is just a regular red rose and I should just get rid of it?

In new leaf these new reds were considered normal reds and not suitable for breeding blues, not sure if it’s still the same here.
