Question about loading furniture onto a card

I need to help a friend out with some furniture she missed from dlc's. When saving it, does it only work for one room? Or for multiple rooms? Say I have a 3 bedroom fully maxed out house loaded with all items. Will all rooms be saved or just the main room? Thanks for any help.

Why hasn't anyone answered this? Okay, guess I will. Only one room, every time you scan it, you overwrite whatever's saved. All the stuff in the room is what the villager "memorizes" and that's what's saved on the card. For other rooms and outside, you'll need multiple cards.
