Question about nook mile items

The clothing items and rugs stay constant, but the fences change daily.

now with the upgraded resident services, there's a ton of DIYs and furniture items available too.
My question is: do those DIYs and furniture items change daily as well like the fences? or are they fixed now like the clothing items?

from what i've seen, they stay the same. i've had the robot DIY there for a while.

They seem fixed which will be a bummer. I was kind of hoping it'd change monthly maybe. Gives time for people to save the nook miles...but I'm going with their fixed so we'll have to trade to get certain color variations of monster statue or lighthouse etc.

Maybe well get more as we improve our town's rating.
By the way, some of these items seem to be uniquely coloured depending on your island. For example, my lighthouse is white with blue stripes, but yours might look different.
I wonder if those variants can be traded.

They can be traded, but the person who “owns” the island needs to buy them. I tried with my brother. Unfortunately it does not catalog the item, so I can’t order them myself next time. Which means I’m stuck with ugly green streetlamps and need him to spend Nook Miles to trade me black streetlamps.

you sure about that? I was able to customize the fountain myself.

I tried customizing the monster statue and it wouldn't customize it. I have the blue one but others have red, black, green...

You're also not able to change the colors of the drink and snack machines - just the ads on them.
