ello,

so I've installed my tablet and drawing within sai works, its just that my pen doesn't adjust with my brush settings? like I'll have it set to a thicker water brush and when i use my mouse that is what it shows, but when i use my tablet pen it's just a thin pen line?

im completely new to this stuff, its possible i just completely missed an installation step or something like that?

thank you!

what tablet do you have? might be possible that you need to reinstall the newest driver on the wacom website if it's wacom

i have a wacom, intuos 5 touch. hmm, i just installed from the disk. I'll try their website.
But generally it should just work right? i didn't know if i missed a step or something

thanks!

Try this...

You normally have to calibrate the pen settings before diving right into it. Especially if its the first time a tablet is being connection to your computer.

hmm, i think it had to do with the calibration. i googled but i couldnt find a calibrate button like the ones on the tutorials, but i adjusted the firmness and that seemed to work.

anywhoo, thank you guys!

I have the Intuos5 Pro too and I had problems with the pen pressure multiple times. For me, it always worked to reinstall with the latest driver on their website.
But with reenhard's help I was able to fix the buttons which never worked for me.

Just a little question if I may. The upper button on the pen (the one where Wacom stands) is supposed to work as eraser. And it does work. But how the hell should I properly erase with that button? I can't hold the pen properly while pressing that button?! O-O Or am I misunderstanding something? I'm pretty dense sometimes.
