Question about selling art.

I don't see other people auctioning artwork so I would like to know if it is allowed.
I'm only free to draw at random times and can't keep up with or want to keep up with a regular shop.

How would you Auction it?

Well I was just going to keep it simple, I've never had an auction type shop before. But I was gonna go for, I have a free day have people make some offers and pick the best one and spend the rest of the day drawing since I take 3+ hours sometimes a few days to finish something anyway. And the next time I have a free day I'll do it again. But it could be weeks apart.

Probably by putting a watermark on a drawing, showing it to people, and then removing the watermark for the winner.

Idk if this would work but couldn't a person just cut out the water mark or even Photoshop it?

Never said anything about real money. I was looking for in game bells. Luckily I've never had people scam me after I finish a commission so I never have to watermark my work.

Yes but how would you show it to people with out them taking it with out pay?

Just got to trust people unfortunately this goes for all art shops. At least on all the other sites I've been on. I have yet to see a forum have an attached file trade for gold/bells or whatever currency the site uses.

Sounds weird to me but i think you could do it. You might also need to put up some of your pictures so people know what they are getting.

Some watermarks are intense and would be insane to remove. Put up enough watermarks and any potential art theives would be like, "Nah, I quit. I'm done."
