Question about TBT forums

For this question, I do not feel the absolute need to contact a staff member and other players probably know. I've been on The Bell Tree forums for a while (okay not really a while but I mean I've been extremely active from when I joined a week or two before) and I never really figured out what "collectables" are. All I know are that they can be bought from the shop. What is the actual purpose for this? If there is already a forum about them please link me to it unless you want to explain it yourself. Whichever is fine . Thanks! Sorry if this was either posted in the wrong place or there is an official forum for them. (I still dontt know how to look for specific forums so...). Again, sorry and thank you!

People usually just buy collectibles to make the area under their avatars look a little nicer. Sometimes the staff release ones for special occasions, so you can show everybody you were part of a certain event or something. There's really nothing more to it than that!

I have a trophy collectible for coming in third place for a Super Smash Bros. tournament earlier this year!
