Question about the dlc!

Can you pick and choose which villagers you design houses for? Like I low key dont want to have to make homes for villagers I dont like?

If someone knows the answer I'd be very grateful!

If you have Amiibo, yes. Otherwise you can invite villagers from your island, or pick from random villagers on the HHP island.

I dunno, I personally think it's an interesting challenge to design houses for villagers I don't like, ESPECIALLY if they give me a theme that I don't like. I will absolutely still use the theme, but I will do it in such a way that I think it looks nice.

I've only done 3 houses in HHP so far, but I made houses for every single villager and NPC in HHD. The villagers I dislike the most sometimes ended up being the most fun to make houses for.

Oh! Yes I do have Daisy's card somewhere most of my other villagers are amiibo on my main island--

And that's a lovely view to have of it! If I could do their homes-- then potentially kick them out later on should a villager I love come along thatd be wonderful (although very cruel to kick the poor animals out of their homes )

But at the start you don't have access to that

You need to do about 15 homes before you can invite someone with amiibo

But after that, you can call anyone there.

So you have to do about 3.3% of all possible houses without amiibo

There are around 5 villagers on the beach at a time, and if you make a house for one of them then that person will be replaced by someone new. I think if you come back on a different day, all 5 of them will reroll (at least, that happened for me) That is on top of the amiibos letting you directly pick, and then any of your 10 villagers can be chosen too via gifting them the souvenir chocolate. You can use one house plot for multiple homes, too, so don't be worried about being limited in that way

Oh! That's definitely good news! Was worried I'd be stuck with doing all the ones on the beach! Glad they get mixed up/can double up

Huh odd! No wonder I couldnt figure out what to do that good to know though! Can save some plots for the amiibo I do have should I ever want to move them off the island

The map is just for show to let you know what possible areas you can use

You can have homes for every single villager and NPC (NPCs need amiibos) without having to delete any other home

I’ve been avoiding a few on the beach, then I get a new one after I pick one I want to do. So far I’m staying strong avoiding a sports house haha.
