Question about villagers moving out and TT

So if i time travel let’s say a month will a villager move out without me knowing like in new leaf? I heard that villagers don’t move out in NH unless you confirm that it’s okay.

i saw a video where someone time travelled like 10 years forward and it didnt affect their island and all their villagers were still there so i'm assuming it's fine

I don't think they move out unless you talk to them first when they have a thought bubble over their head!
