Question about where to post this?

So, I kind of would like to do some sort of thread where I can just post my thoughts about whatever.
I just don't really know where I would post it, like would it be considered a basement post, or a brewsters cafe?
Or would I just be told to move it to a blog?

Personally I don't really want to make blog posts because I would just like one consistent place to post, kind of like one of those "art dumps", but with, you know, my words ><
Plus I just think it would be easier.

So where would I post something like that?

the basement is mostly for games.

i didn't see the last bit until now, i don't think there's a place for casual thoughts except the 'what's bothering you' and 'what are your thoughts' threads or whatever.

The Blog Tree would definitely be the most appropriate place for something like this, as it essentially serves the same purpose as a "thought dump" thread. You can always post a link to your blog in your signature to prompt other members to read it, and they can comment on it as well just like they would in a forum thread.

Other than this, you can always post in the Random Thoughts or General Discussion threads if you just feel like posting whatever happens to be on your mind, but an entire thread dedicated to your thoughts would be something that's much better suited to a blog.

Do you want people replying back to your "thoughts"? or will it be more like a journal/diary? If so, I think using sites like TUMBLR would be much better for your purpose.
