Question about Wi-Fi ratings

What I learned about Wi-fi ratings is that if somebody was being a jerk in someone's town, the victim should give a negative wi-fi rating. However, if the wi-fi rating system was abused and the bad one purposely gives a false negative rating, the false ratings will be removed and the person abusing the system gets in trouble.

Here's my question. What if someone was being mean or rude online accuses the victim of abusing the system when the wi-fi rating is legitimate? I mean, someone acts like a jerk, receives negative rating for it, and reports the rating to the mods. What would the consequences be of false accusations of abusing the wi-fi rating system?

Actually, nobody had been vandalizing my town. Nobody scammed me. Nobody gave me a false negative rating. I never gave a negative rating at all. So why should this be more personal if I had no experience?

It's really a case by case basis. The mod(s) will listen to both sides of the story most likely and make a verdict based off of that.

I read the rules so I know what to do and what not to do. You will never know how often I read the rules.

I got the answer from one of the admins. Unless if there's proof, the ratings can't be removed. I would still not advocate reporting to the mods if you deserved the negative rating. That's like lying about a crime to get out of trouble and getting the victim in trouble for reporting.
