QUESTION for the New Splatfest (knights vs wizards)

I saw that you can actually change your splatfest t shirt into either the wizard or knight shirt if you have the hat+shoes equipped.

I only have the witch hat. I don't have the shoes. Would I still be able to change my splatfest shirt?

l'm not sure your splatfest shirt will change by doing that cause the game already says that after you join the team you can't switch different splatfest shirts and teams. So your stuck on whatever team you chosen.

Nooo i mean like it actually changes your shirt to the witch costume if you have the hat and shoes and chose witch (but i only have the hat so idk if it will work)

By the sounds of it, I don't think so. It sounds like you need both to wear the shirt. The shoes are rather easy to get, if I remember correctly you just need to save an outfit to the amiibo and you unlock the rest of the outfit.

Sorry sometimes its hard for me to understand what people are trying to say
anyways I'm still not sure it will work
example when that one splatfest of Squid VS Octo and I was a squid and I chosen team octo and my squid became an octoling. So yeah I'm not so sure changing into a witch outfit will make you team wizard but who knows it might or it won't.

Sadly you will need to wear both the hat and shoes. The Splatfest shirt will be automatically worn as it’s required during Splatfest. But it won’t change into the robes without both the hat and shoes.

It’s a big bummer but at least you can still wear the hat. If I were you I’ve just pair the with a fun pair of black shoes you like. The Splatfest shirt looks neat at least?
