Question!! PLease help!!

I'm trying to make one of the villagers I don't want move out. Ive been tt by one day (started9/3/13) and landed on the 7th. I walked around looking for those I want out. Instead I bump into 1 I'm keeping and he says he leaving on the 11th. I told him not to move and he said he wouldn't. Can I switch the date back to right now (9/4/13) and he won't move out?

Those 17 people probably couldn't answer. I wouldn't take it personally

If he's agreed not to move, then he shouldn't move out if you TT back or forward. This happens to me regularly in my second town and I've never had a villager move after saying they'd stay (unless it's on a new day and they decide to move again).
