Has anyone tried using amiibo cards at their campsite yet? I have a few questions on them before i invest in some for my own game.

Do they work the same as in New Leaf? And once you scan the card can you convince the villager to move to your island? I've heard mixed things online and would like to hear it from someone whos actually tried it.

I'm still trying to figure out how to get a campsite. I imagine it's aTT thing, right?

I have already moved in stiches and diana from amiibo cards you have to bring them 3 times to your island and you have to make them items all 3 times, on the 3rd time make sure you have a house built for them and they will go to resident services and move in, if you already have 10 villagers you will be able to kick one out for them

you get it later on in the game, after tom nook has you build 3 plots for new villagers!

thank you so much! definitely going to buy some amiibo cards now since i've had terrible luck with my villagers

Okay, cool. I've got the three homes, with the third villager moving in tomorrow. I'm doing everything in my power not to talk to any of them, as I don't want them believing I actually want them there.

that would be best to get the ones you want, im lucky since i still had mine from new leaf

You can use amiibo cards.
However, if you're not talking to villagers, you're potentially missing out on some DIY recipes, as well.
You can always force an unwanted one to move out when you have 10 so just talk to them and enjoy the game. :)

this genuinely made me laugh out loud
