I'm sure this has been answered before, so I'm sorry about that! I just got my upgraded RS today and placed the spot for the campsite to be built. It will be finished tomorrow. Will I have a camper tomorrow on the first day it's complete? Or will it be the following day?

I believe tomorrow it's just an empty campsite, and then the next day the tent pops up with your 6th villager
Interesting, does that mean we can't find anymore villagers at random islands?

Yikes! haha. Can you at least choose amongst the villagers that arrive at the campsite? Or do you have to choose the first one that arrives in the campsite?
That I'm aware it has to be that first camper. I TTed and regardless it was that same camper. After this you can by house plots. If you buy a house plot random move ins won't happen and villagers start appearing on the island again.

I had a feeling that would be the case. I'm just excited to finally start getting random island encounters again, so I was hoping the camper would come tomorrow lol.
If I'm counting the days correctly I think I should be able to start seeing random villagers again on Tuesday then.
Friday (tomorrow): Empty tent
Saturday: Invite camper
Sunday: Camper plots on my island
Monday: Camper moves in
Tuesday: Encounters start again?
