Quick question to those with 2 islands/ 2 switches

Hi all,
So I have two islands and two switches.
what I’d like to do is swapping islands between the consoles. Like, Island one from my main switch to my switch lite & and island two from my lite to my main switch.
Is that possible? I know I transferred in the past but I’m not sure anymore if I had to delete one in order to make it happen :<

I think you’d have to delete one, unfortunately.

You can’t have more than one island at a time, and I don’t think you can do a direct “trade” from one to another—only transfer one direction (from Switch A to Switch B), at which point B would then have two Islands (which isn’t possible, sadly)

I suppose I’m not 100% sure, but I just don’t see it working knowing the way the tool works (I’ve done a transfer from A to B twice before). Sorry! I hope you can figure something out and keep enjoying both Islands! ♥

Im not quite sure if it will, I know I used the Animal Crossing Island Transfer, in the store

But I think you might be able to ewap? But I think sadly you'd have to delete one. See if you can swap with that tool first
