Friend: How do you fall up the stairs?
Me: I dunno, must be some kind of voodo magic or somthin.
Friend:Wait...do stairs go up or down?

Sairs go down.

tripping and falling means downwards even if you don't go that way. You merely climb stairs. Not actualy go up.

I say stairs go up because generally stairs are built to reach the second story. You go up to get to the second story.

If there wasn't a second story to go up to in the first place, you wouldn't need stairs. So they go up. :eh:

But what about if they were made to go to the basement? Then they were made to go down.

Because the majority of stairs are made to go to the floor above.

Because most stairs are made to go to the floor above.
No stairs are made for the same reason a bridge is made.

But bridges are different, they bring you horizantly while stairs bring you vertically.

No, for the same reason. Not how.
But the question of which way stairs go isn't what, it's how. Anyways, I'm done with this topic... it's getting weird.
